Biography

Robert is a Partner and the Senior Vice President – Operations for Jaral Properties/Jaral Management, two Garden City, NY based companies, formed to own and operate family owned Hotel properties and investments. His current responsibilities include oversight and management of the family owned and East End, Long Island based, 100 unit Hotel Indigo and 89 unit Holiday Inn Express East End; and serving as management consultant at the 143 unit Allegria Hotel in Long Beach, NY. He formerly managed the Wingate Inn, Garden City from it’s opening through September 2007, when it was sold.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Robert is a member of the Energeia Partnership, serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cradle of Aviation Museum, President’s Advisory Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters Long Island, Advisory Board for North Shore-Long Island Jewish Occupational & Environmental Medicine Clinical Center (OEMC), Hofstra University Alumni Executive Council, and Leadership Council for Mentoring Partnerships of Long Island.

He is an active member of the Executive Business Association (EBA), Long Island Elite (LIE), Network Long Island (NLI) and the Edward Smith Mineola Lions Club, and serves as committee member of the Winthrop University Hospital Golf Outing and Chaminade HS Golf & Tennis Open.

His past activities include service as President of the Chaminade HS Long Island Businessman’s Association, Director for the Garden City Chamber of Commerce, and Hofstra University Advisory Board.

Robert is a graduate of Hofstra University, and he holds a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing & Information Systems from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Robert resides in Garden City, NY with his wife Cynthia, their daughter Analee, son Robert and French Bulldog, Lila.
